Description

 Propionic acid is an organic acid with skin-brightening, spot fading, and pH-balancing activity. It has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties and is utilized in the food industry. It prevents the growth of mold and bacteria in many products.

Uses

  • Antimicrobial : Helps slow the growth of micro-organisms on the skin and counteracts the development of microbes
  • Masking: Reduces or inhibits the odor or basic taste of the product
  • Preservative: Inhibits the development of microorganisms in cosmetic products.
  • Ph adjusters: Controlling the pH of cosmetic products.

 

Usage: up to 2%
