Azelaic acid is a skin-friendly dicarboxylic acid with unique properties that works by inhibiting misbehaving elements on skin’s uppermost layers to help the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. 
It decreases swelling and redness of the skin.

It treats acne by killing the bacteria that is associated with acneic pores and decreases production of keratin

It clears uneven skin tone by blocking tyrosinase enzyme, azelaic acid inhibits epidermal melanogenesis and prevents the excess build-up of pigment cells on the skin.

It has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant properties and is a a multifunctional skincare ingredient that also promote skin exfoliation.

It is super gentle and safe during pregnancy and can be used to treat melasma while pregnant. compatible with all skin tones and types, including darker skin tones and sensitive skin.

Pair azelaic acid with with Vitamin C and niacinamide which can be combined (with SPF) for daytime products and ensure to use sunscreen

Azelaic acid should not be paired with peeling agents, AHAs (alpha-hydroxy acids) and BHAs (beta-hydroxy acids), such as salicylic acid to avoid skin sensitivity redness, irritation and scaly.
